Qualifications

The Inkjet Engineer is responsible for operation and maintenance of ink characterization equipment, print testing rigs, and industrial inkjet commercial printers. This position has a supervisory role, with the Inkjet Systems Development staff of technicians and as direct reports. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the site maintenance at the New Castle through daily work orders, preventative maintenance orders and emergency repairs under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. Incumbent is required to work safely and adhere to the site EHS guidelines while performing tasks.
The primary purpose of this position is to manufacture RxD dispersions at the COUS site. The Production Operator must be responsible to perform all manufacturing activities within all EHS, quality, and corporate guidelines on a right-first-time basis. The operator is independently responsible for manufacturing activities and priorities, following all appropriate training programs, complying with all documentation within the department (i.e. SOP’s, process logs), and effectively communicating with other operators as well as supervision and other departments . In addition, the Production Operator will perform routine manufacturing cleanouts and equipment changeovers, monitor in process and post batch data, and operate the process control systems to effectively run the plant. A strong understanding of the process chemistry and equipment, including potential problem analysis, is critical to ensuring high quality dispersion is produced in a safe and cost effective manner. The Production Operator accomplishes these goals while striving to maintain an atmosphere of involvement, continuous improvement, EHS, and right-first-time manufacture within the operations team. This position reports to the Work Station Manager for RxD. The Production Operators will work rotating shifts to support 24/7 manufacturing.
