The Role

 

Taking direction from the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will have responsibility for sourcing, attracting, and identifying top talent and fill open requisitions for FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S. (FEUS) locations.

 

The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for chemical production, high-purity manufacturing, semiconductor materials, specialty chemicals, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of technical manufacturing positions, exceptional sourcing capabilities, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers in a fast-paced production environment. This role is an onsite position. Remote or hybrid options are not available for this position.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Recruit top talent including sourcing and interviewing for all FEUS facilities assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Develop, determine, and implement recruiting best practices for diverse hourly, non-exempt and exempt positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR to create job descriptions as required.
  • Screen candidates for technical qualifications, manufacturing experience, safety mindset, and ability to work in regulated production environments.
  • Coordinate interviews, provide hiring recommendations, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
  • Manage the job requisition log and applicant/interview/hire reports.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR on interview question development as needed
  • Source passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, industry associations, technical schools, employee referrals, networking, and specialized recruiting platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Experience recruiting technical manufacturing professionals in chemical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools. Prior experience with iCIMS ATS preferred
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other regulated manufacturing systems is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EEOC and FLSA.
  • Knowledge of various functions (manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, engineering, information systems, etc.) within an organization and the challenges of filling positions within those departments.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
