Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation is seeking a senior counsel to support the company’s privacy, data protection, and AI program goals and compliance obligations across a number of business functions. In this role, you will report to the company's Chief Litigation, Employment & Privacy Counsel, and will work closely with the Privacy Officer and Data Governance Director, Information Security Officer and legal team to support the Fujifilm privacy, AI, and cybersecurity programs. You will serve as a subject-matter expert for state, federal and international privacy laws impacting Fujifilm, and be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel on such laws and regulations affecting its businesses in North America, South America, and European regions.
The businesses in the Fujifilm family range from manufacturing to healthcare and life sciences. You will provide legal support in the development and implementation of AI and privacy and security-related policies, practices, and training programs, and help business stakeholders to understand and address data protection and privacy issues as they emerge in the development of new products and technologies. You will also provide counsel to the law department attorneys on AI, privacy and security matters impacting the businesses they support and relevant contract provisions. You will be expected to stay abreast of developments and trends in data protection and privacy laws and regulations and enforcement.
The position is fully remote within the US.
