Position Overview

The Supervisor,Warehouseis responsible forleading theWarehouseteam and operations within Supply Chain to ensure compliant and reliable production
in a 24/7 facility. This positionsupervises teams and oversees warehouse operations to includeshipping, receiving, materialtransfer,and3PL
management.This position works directly with the Associate Manager, Warehouseand raises concerns or issues to helpcreate a safe and productive work
environment.The Supervisor, Warehouseleads and worksindependently in a high output environment.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

ManagesWarehouse activities includingreceipt, storage, management, distribution, and shipment of GMP materials.
Collaborates cross functionally(e.g., Manufacturing, Quality, SC Planning, Drug Product, Weigh & Dispense, Raw Material Sampling) to meet needs
of production schedule and maintain a GMP state.
Oversees, organizes, and coordinatesdaily activitiesbetween Warehouse, Raw Material Sampling, Weigh & Dispense, Manufacturing,and Quality
Control(e.g., Warehouse Task, Purchase Order Errors, On Call)
Maintains and updates standard operating procedures (SOPs); assists in identifyingprocess gaps and implementing plansforimprovement
Leads cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
Responsible for work orders in Computerized MaintenanceManagementSystem (CMMS).
Provides necessary responses to alert or action limits for area equipment and monitoringwithin Validated Data System(VDS).
Management of Powered Industrial Trucks, operations and safety as well as calling in service for Powered Industrial Truck (PIT)related issues.
Management of Compliance to support inspection readiness for Warehouse building, ensuring team is current on training and procedures; ensures
Warehousealways remains GMP compliant.
Fosters an inclusive, people-first culture by creating meaningful development plans with direct reports and conducting one-on-ones on a defined
cadence.
Leads with a safety-first mindset, completes monthly safety Gemba, and reportsany safety related concerns to EHS.
Administers company policies such as time off, shift work, and inclement weather that directly impact employee.s
Completes required administrative tasks (e.g., timecard approvals, time off approvals, expense reports etc.).
Coaches and guides direct reports to foster professional development
Participates in the recruitment process and retention strategies to attract and retain talent, as needed.
Addresses performance gaps, employee questions and concerns, and partners with HR as needed for resolution.

Knowledge & Skills 

 

Ability to collaborate with all departments at a site and global level
Strong communication skills for status updates, escalations to management, and highlighting risks.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills in addition to project management capabilities.
Actively champions continuous improvement practices and ideas
Advanced understanding of GMP, inspection requirements, safety, and Warehouse operations.
Continuous improvement, drives escalation and mitigates issues.
Ability to coach, lead, and develop individual contributors.
Ability to effectively present information to others.
Must be flexible to support 24/7 manufacturing facility.

 

Basic Requirements

 

High school diploma with 6+ years of experience; OR
Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience;OR
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR
Experience leading, and developing people
Experience in GMP warehouse operations
Equivalent military experience 

 

Preferred Requirements

 

Experience in pharmaceutical / biological manufacturing operations
Experience leading others in a pharmaceutical / biological
manufacturing facility
Experience working in a changing, project driven organization

 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection
  • Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck
  • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 33 pounds
  • Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18” to 60” in height, and use twisting motions
  • Will work in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
