Overview

The Team Leader position is based in Bentonville, AR and is responsible for managing the firm’s Walmart & Sam’s Club accounts. The position manages seven direct reports and numerous indirect reports who interface with the accounts. The Team Leader is directly responsible for developing strategy and tactics to achieve the firm’s objectives at the accounts. This will involve working with the team to develop yearly sales and marketing plans, equipment configurations, software roadmaps, merchandise assortment and replenishment planning, and progressing contracts between Walmart and Fujifilm. The Team Leader is responsible for working with Valhalla management to develop yearly sales quotas and managing the Walmart & Sam’s Club accounts to these quotas each month. It is the responsibility of the Team Leader to report on the progress of the accounts to the firm’s senior management each month and to devise remedial plans to achieve the quotas, if necessary, throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieve the firm’s sales quota assigned to the Walmart & Sam’s Club accounts.
  • Manage the firm’s relationship with Walmart & Sam’s Club management to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop Strategic Plans and Tactics to profitably grow the firm’s sales and market share within the Walmart & Sam’s Club accounts.
  • Manage financial terms and conditions in Walmart & Sam’s Club Supplier Contracts including payment days, COOP promotional funds, and debit/chargebacks.
  • Work with Product Managers and Walmart/Sam’s Club management to develop the right mix of equipment, services, and merchandise solutions to organically grow Walmart/Sam’s Club and Fujifilm’s respective businesses.
  • Experience in managing and training team members, setting the team’s strategy.
  • Experience in managing a budget/quota based on sales goals.
  • Experience in researching and analyzing various types of customer & industry data.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to provide guidance, give feedback & collaborate with both the internal team & the Walmart Account teams.

The position will be responsible for helping manage all Walmart Retail sales when the sales plan is fully executed. The position will interface across the imaging division and all levels of management.  The position will be expected to always conduct themselves in a professional and competent manner which instills confidence and reflects well on the company.

 

Required Skills/Education

 

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in business (Preferred).
  • At least 5 years of sales experience and customer management
  • At least 5 years of management skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and proficient in preparing sales presentations.
