The Technician 2, Maintenance for Drug Product Finished Goods (DPFG) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Drug Product (DP) related systems/equipment (e.g., filling line, automated inspection line, formulation, and isolation). This role ensures the systems meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing, conducts regular inspections and preventive maintenance DP related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently with minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do
•Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment within the assigned building(s)
•Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment malfunctions
•Assists in the installation and commissioning of equipment, as needed
•Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
•Adheres to all safety requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
•Provides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
•Performs spare parts assessments, as required
•Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
•Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
•Performs other duties, as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
•Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Effective communication, both written and oral
•Knowledge of GMP requirements and programmable logic controllers (PLC) or other process control systems
•Detail oriented, and good problem-solving and time management skills
•Willingness to learn new skills and processes and train others
•Must be able to support 24/7 manufacturing facility, including shift, on-call and weekends
Required Skills
•High School Diploma/GED with 2-4 years of maintenance experience
Preferred Skills
•Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or a related field
•Prior maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
•Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
