The Role

 

The CMP Production Coordinator manages day-to-day intermediate production workflows, scheduling, and resources to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time manufacturing of CMP products. They coordinate raw material movements with operations, planning, engineering and logistics to ensure production readiness. They maintain documentation, inventory levels, and are responsible for process improvements in their system.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Personnel Management: Manage Material Handler’s day-to-day activities to include the manufacturing of intermediate products for CMP and coordinating raw material movement for all CMP process lines.
  • Production Scheduling & Planning: Create, adjust, and execute daily/weekly production schedules based on internal and external intermediate production demand, material availability, and capacity constraints.
  • Operational Coordination: Monitor manufacturing lines to ensure efficient production flow, acting as a liaison between operations, engineering, product management, logistics, and quality departments.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety policies, and environmental requirements, including participation in PSM (Process Safety Management) reviews, if required, and maintaining ISO standards.
  • Inventory & Material Management: Help coordinate raw material movement and maintain inventory levels across multiple locations, including updating inventory systems as needed. Prepare raw materials and intermediates when necessary for overseas shipments to other FujiFilm production sites.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, such as batch records, shift reports, monthly/yearly cycle counts, and data entry in ERP system (SAP).
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot production issues to improve yields and reduce waste. Work with engineering and/or maintenance on execution when system improvements are identified.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 3-5 years in production planning, inventory management, or manufacturing. 2+ years’ experience in a supervisor/management capacity leading a team is required. Experience in chemical processing or highly regulated environments preferred. Having working knowledge of current CMP operations is preferred.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP system and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read, understand and make recommendations to process flow diagrams. Experience with quality management software such as CPro or Etq is preferred. Experience with LIMS or other data management software is preferred.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams (Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics). Able to communicate effectively verbally or through written communication.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a plant environment, lift materials, and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
