Overview

Position Description

 

We are hiring a EU- Global Strategic Account Manager. The EU- Global Stratgeic Account Manager will be Responsible for developing a global strategy for assigned key accounts that will defend current business, open new opportunities and secure positions as a valued partner.

External US

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a global strategy that will be rolled out to BP, CGT, DR and Wako sales team for assigned Strategic Accounts 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior level decision makers in Supply Chain, Procurement, QA and R&D at all Strategic Account locations 
  • Lead and coordinate project teams between customer accounts and within multiple departments 
  • Introduce, map, present and gain evaluation at targeted Strategic Accounts that have zero to low revenue
  • Assist sales team in closing orders at their Strategic Account sites 
  • Coordinate responses on client agreements, quoting activities and RFP’s 
  • Forecast business accurately to the company as required 
  • Give feedback to inside personnel on changes in the marketplace and competitive information. 
  • Generate ideas for new products based on customer input and suggestions. 
  • Deliver and present monthly updates on strategic account activities 
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales team members who have responsibilities with assigned Strategic Accounts 
  • Work within the expense guidelines 
  • Assist with training of new sales personnel 
  • Advise on optimal shipping methods. 
  • Attend tradeshows and participating in marketing efforts 

Required Skills/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S. in a Life Science) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 5+ years of sales or professional consulting experience within Life Sciences companies 
  • High level of organizational skills in regards to planning, preparation, execution and follow up 
  • High level of interpersonal skills  
  • Experience in consultative sales process 
  • Able to work flexibly within short deadlines 
  • Knowledge of Life sciences market 
  • Experience with supply chain, QA and Regulatory requirements  
  • Must be very fluent in the English language to interact with corporate offices and IS employees.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The base salary range for this position is $118,500-$166,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
  • Competitive benefits package in accordance with local country practices and applicable law
