We are hiring a Field Application Scientist Intern. The Field Application Scientist Intern work with Life Sciences Field applications team to learn existing processes and help drive project goals to completion.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Field Application Scientist Knowledge base redesign
    • Organize and streamline the knowledge base system to improve access to product resources. 
    • Use New SharePoint template and propose new ideas
    • Transfer data and links to improve user accessibility
    • Collaborate on creating templates and other assets to support scalable Sales Enablement initiatives. 
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the role of marketing and customer feedback 
  • All interns will participate in a weekly 1:1 project update with the Supervisor.
  • All Interns will have a chance to participate in customer calls when appropriate. 
  • All interns will attend weekly Field Application Scientist team meetings and other internal meetings as assigned
  • All interns will prepare and present final report of accomplishments and learnings at conclusion of internship to select sales leadership 

Requirements:

  • Must be at least a 2nd year bachelors degree student and a returning student with focus on Biology/Biotechnology  
  • Strong proficiency in cell culture science, bioprocess, and general ‘technical marketing’ techniques
  • Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and interpreting scientific concepts, applications and methods.
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adjust quickly.
  • Customer focused/Strong networking skills
  • Well organized 
  • Ability to work with others and independently as required. 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook  

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $23.00- $25.00 per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on the level of degree in pursuit
