We are hiring a Product Manager, Bio Production Catalog Media. The Product Manager, Bio Production Catalog Media will oversee product management activities for the portfolio and support the Senior Product Manager with strategic and tactical assignments as needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned product line(s) within Life Sciences portfolio, in alignment with overall strategic business plan objectives in support of the senior product manager. 
  • Coordinate and support product planning activities to ensure stock of OTS items, continuity of supply and optimization of inventory levels.  
  • Manage global forecast, provide monthly product and revenue forecasts to planning and management team and participate in supply demand review for assigned product/s. 
  • Track and evaluate financial performance of product line, including revenue, costs, and margin. 
  • Provide pricing and pricing support for products within the assigned portfolio. 
  • Maintain regular communication and contact with field sales personnel and customers to understand market and customer needs.  
  • Collect market intel, capture voice of customer for short and long-term business requirements. Review product complaints and monitor any product related issues.  
  • Build business cases for driving operational and/or capabilities expansion to meet short and/or long-term business growth.  
  • Serve as project lead for key strategic and/or priority initiatives to support the business. 
  • Lead cross-functional meetings for development of new product capabilities. 
  • Manage product lifecycle post-launch for assigned product line.  
  • In coordination with marketing provide training as needed to sales, FAS, etc. 
  • Support custom execution team on any new product related inquiries from sales. 
  • Review, update and maintain applicable SOPs and any related document templates. 
  • Assist in responding to internal department inquiries and requests. 
  • Travel and represent FUJIFILM at tradeshows, seminars, and customer site visits. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. 

Required Skills/Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, life sciences, or Marketing required. MBA or Masters/PhD preferred 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or relevant scientific position.  
  • Industry understanding within the life science, biotechnology or pharmaceutical field. 
  • Industry experience with cell and gene therapy preferred. 
  • Must have proven ability to build relationships and lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Marketing and Marketing Communications, Program Management, and Operations 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Familiarity with SAP and CRM a plus.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and formal presentation abilities 
  • Strong organizational, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Sales and marketing principals and a technical background.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English. 
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and presentation techniques.

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $88,452 - $115,293 per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
