Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Apply changes to TFS at the request of development teams and resolve issues within TFS workflows
  • Assist in the creation of new users in TFS environment and onboarding into the system
  • Keep all environments up to date with latest patches
  • Design and implement strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback
  • Coordinate with development and operations teams to streamline code releases
  • Develop new scripts and tools to enhance existing automated structures and further improve process and documentation to enhance productivity.
  • Manage Azure DevOps environment and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions in a proactive manner.
  • Ensure critical resolution of system issues by using the best cloud security solutions.
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation
  • Report status and escalate issues effectively.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of all relevant documentation required for the purposes of compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Plan disaster recovery measures and maintain data storage security in Azure
  • Identify process improvements to increase the performance, productivity and consistency of testing.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps Server with build and release management
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Extremely strong interpersonal / communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong Analytical and Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, Virtualization, Networking.
  • Working knowledge of TFS/Azure Server, CI/CD, Powershell, Python, Source control (Git.
  • Enjoy learning and promoting new processes and technologies.
  • Apply analysis and common sense to determine risks. Prioritize and organize.

Physical requirements:


The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • The ability to sit 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 25% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Up to 10% travel may be required based on business need.
