The Role

 

The CMP Technical Marketing Manager will gather customer and market intelligence and collaborate with business and technology to develop technical roadmaps for Chemical Mechanical Polishing/Planarization (CMP) material development to drive business growth.  This position will provide material and process guidance for the global technology group for CMP slurries and P-CMP cleaners.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Gather CMP market intelligence.
  • Develop technical roadmaps aligned with industry and customer expectations.
  • Develop marketing strategies for CMP solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance related to CMP materials to Technology, business, and operations.
  • Work closely with product management and other teams to address customer needs and market.
  • Lead product demonstrations and direct related activities.
  • Interface with customers during demonstrations.
  • Streamline product commercialization and product introduction.
  • Engage in complex technical challenges. Apply problem solving techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Must be highly motivated, organized, able to multitask with track record of performing under pressure.
  • Efficient and effective networking skills. Attend customer and industry meetings. 
  • Travel up to 20%, including international travel.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree Material Science or Chemical Engineering required.
  • Master’s degree in marketing or business desired or equivalent experience demonstrated.
  • Minimum 15 years of overall Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CMP applications, industry trends, CMP materials (preferably slurries) and CMP consumables required.
  • Prior experience leading global cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with technical program and/or project management.
  • Highly motivated, organized, analytical and creative individual with a passion for technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in standard office software and JMP required.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
