Position Overview

The SAP Customer Service Associate position has overall responsibility for completing the daily Customer Service order processing duties as well as performing a variety of administrative tasks required to achieve budgeted sales objectives.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Adheres to the Company’s quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in all aspects of customer order fulfillment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email or chat.
  • Provide customers with quotes that include stock availability, pricing & ETA’s.
  • Issue RMAs for Damaged, Lost or Miss-Shipments.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues with patience, empathy & efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to escalate or resolve complex issues.
  • Coordinates NDT orders, shipping, etc. with appropriate warehouse personnel.
  • Primary administrator for all domestic and foreign orders for NDT Business. 
  • Manages the billing process for our South America, Latin America & Chemistry Customers.
  • Creates TAS orders for White Mountain customers.
  • Records documentation, update and catalog all Customer Service procedures.
  • Participate in a bi-weekly NDT Staff meeting to help manage backorders.
  • Process all NDT FOC orders (Domestic and Foreign).
  • Assists the organization in data collection and report preparation.
  • Performs special projects, tasks and studies as may be requested by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate with 3-5 years of Office experience & CSR experience
  • Knowledge of SAP required, advanced SAP procedures knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills & the ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Desire to work as a team player while demonstrating a positive attitude to customers / coworkers.

Physical requirements

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

  • No regular travel required. Up to 10% travel may be required for training purposes.
