The Role

 

The IT Manager - M365/EUC manages a small team of IT professionals supporting multiple sites across the U.S. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient end-user technology services, driving continuous improvements, and providing responsive customer service to internal stakeholders.

 

This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, but there is a strong expectation of being in-office frequently to provide the highest level of internal customer support across our teams.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT professionals.
  • Oversee administration, optimization, and security of Microsoft 365 services
  • Manage the end-user computing environment, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and collaboration tools
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of escalated IT support issues, serving as the escalation point when necessary
  • Establish and enforce IT standards, polices, and best practices for end-user technologies and Microsoft 365
  • Partner with business leaders to understand needs, prioritize projects, and deliver technology solutions that enhance productivity
  • Manager hardware and software inventory, license compliance, and lifecycle planning
  • Support IT infrastructure initiatives in coordination with other IT leaders
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, self-service, and user-training
  • Develop and monitor key metrics for IT service delivery, ensuring high levels of internal customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to IT budget planning and vendor management as it relates to end-user technologies and M365 services. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience with emphasis on Microsoft 365 and end-user support with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 assessments, migrations, and modernization projects
  • Experience supporting multiple sites or distributed user bases a plus

Technical Skills: 

  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and related security/compliance features).
  • Knowledge of end-user computing environments, device management, and support best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with managerial oversight
  • Strong customer-service orientation with effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • At least L2 level hands on knowledge in Active Directory services
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified, Enterprise Administrator Expert, etc.) are a plus
  • Vendor management and budget planning skills a plus
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
