We are hiring a JR Graphic Designer. The Jr Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing, editing, maintaining, executing, and facilitating the production of a wide array of creative materials from brief through production for digital and print projects across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Strategic Marketing, and Sales teammates to produce print and digital assets needed to support marketing and promotional tactics
• Evolve and ensure consistency of company brand and brand guidelines
• Take design projects from concept all the way through to completion, including brainstorming, illustration, image selection, design, and file preparation
• Assist with design and production of graphics for the company websites, both internal and external
• Ensure technical accuracy and approval of design projects
• Develop and create artwork and templates for the Corporate Communications team to use in email and social media posts
• Create, edit, and polish PowerPoint presentations as needed
• Maintain the company’s design resources and image library
• Supporting senior staff in assigned project‐based work
• Assist with the creation of video content and digital ads
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and have a commitment to quality

Required Skills/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline.
• Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite applications InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Some familiarity with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Experience with and understanding of design principles
• Experience with and understanding of information display and messaging hierarchy
• Some experience with video editing and animation
• Some experience with HTML5 ads
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with external agencies and suppliers
• Must possess a technical knowledge of commercial print and digital/web standards
• Ability to speak read and write English effectively.

Salary and Benefits:

• For California, the base salary range for this position is $69,000 - $70,762 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
