Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Sr. Director, Channel Sales, the Product Manager, NDT strategically develops and implements the company’s global sales/marketing, promotional and communication strategies of its highly technical products and services Through the communication of current and future market demands and trends the position will also be aligned with new product development in creating a product roadmap and execution of a go to market strategy in order to build brand awareness and increase market share of FUJIFILM’s Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) portfolio of products.The position will reinforce Fujifilm’s leadership values by transforming this area into a customer focused, proactive operation that will help drive Fujifilm’s business.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and execute an overall global strategic and tactical sales and marketing plan and business building programs.

  • Lead new product development projects and activities through market research, competitive intelligence and market demand. Work directly with Fujifilm Global Headquarter in Japan and key Fujifilm NDT partners in identifying market needs and product roadmaps.

  • Work on new product introduction plans to include a pricing strategy, marketing communication strategy and collateral and sales tool development.

  • Support the development of Fujifilm’s mid-term business strategy and planning to profitably grow the NDT global market share.

  • Partner with US/Canada and other key market sales team and dealers to formulate marketing strategies including product positioning and pricing guideline to deliver sales and margin objectives.

  • Creatively support the demonstration of the products and unique value proposition with sales team to strategic customers.

  • Engage in business development activities; leveraging existing products and customers’ relationship to define and create value proposition, expand solutions and develop go-to-market strategies developing new market and customers.

  • Synthesize market and customer feedback and needs as well as industry trend to drive valuable innovations

  • Coordinate campaigns and promotions with sales activities to achieve overall corporate objectives

  •  

    Create and implement marketing/media plans that include print, online, video, trade shows and social networking opportunities

  • Solicit editors of target publications for editorial opportunities.

  • Initiate, compile, analyze and present sales data and statistical findings that support business growth and identifying market changes to senior management as required

  • Oversee the coordination of conferences, trade shows and major events. Coordinate and participate in promotional activities working with show developers, advertisers and production managers to market Fujifilm’s NDT product and services to the industry.

  • Actively participate in enhancing the Fujifilm NDT website and marketing collateral with the development of valuable and engaging content.

  • Active participant in industry technical committees (ASTM, ASNT, ASME etc) in support of Fujifilm equipment and software interests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field; preferably engineering.
  • 5-7 years’ marketing or business development experience in NDT industry; preferably aerospace industry segment or Radiographic Testing (RT) equipment manufacturer.
  • Prior experience and success in creating a marketing strategy, plan and campaign to include print, online video, tradeshow, event and social networking opportunities.
  • Market insights, value proposition generation, pricing management experience.
  • Work in multinational environment with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships with others.
  • Confident and dynamic personality with a strong creative vision. Ability to generate multiple and varied ideas.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills, able to function well within a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications including advanced skills in Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint and project).

Physical requirements

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to fifteen (15) pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
