The Senior Supply Chain Analyst role supports Supply Planning and Warehouse. Using both soft and technical skills, the analyst role works cross functionally with other areas (e.g., Manufacturing, Quality, and Process Science) to analyze data for future improvement and cost analysis. This role is both tactical and transformational by initiating, preparing and facilitating initiatives to build a strong Supply Chain for the future. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst contributes to establishing KPls and ensures transparent, unambiguous visual and verbal communication to drive optimization of stock levels for both cost and availability to support warehouse and production capacity.
What You’ll Do
• Analyzes data and methods to predict and improve a company’s delivery of products and services to its internal/external customers
• Identifies and implements process improvements across the supply chain to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality
• Leads projects to support Supply Chain: Planning, Capacity, Warehouse, and Logistics
• Assesses a company processes and inventory, then use that data to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collects, Monitor, Analyzes, and interprets supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
• Drives enhancements of standard processes, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities
• Builds and evaluates scenarios with process and financial data and makes recommendations
• Monitors inventory quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and develops action plans for reduction of subprime inventory and stock levels to identify any supply/demand mismatches
• Monitors and reports on KPIs including creation of new reports for customers and internal stakeholders
• Develops and continuously improves analytics models to support Strategic Planning, Supply chain, other functions/sites and customers
• Participates in projects (e.g., based on customer or internal requirements or interests)
• Conducts data analysis to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain
• Prepares reports and presentations for management review
• Ensures supply chain activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
Basic Requirements
• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field with at least 7 years of related experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field with at least 5 years of related experience; OR
• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills
Preferred Requirements
• cGMP experience with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Quality background
• Experience in Supply Chain to include planning, purchasing, or warehouse
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Six Sigma Training/Certification
