The Director, Product Engineering & Deployment, is responsible for leading the development, delivery and lifecycle maintenance of innovative digital solutions that support biotechnology operations. The role exists to ensure scalable, compliant, and business-value–driven data products are built and deployed across manufacturing, quality, supply chain and other organizational use cases. The position provides technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and project execution oversight to enable advanced data-driven decision making, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance in end-to-end biotechnology operations.

Technical: Expertise in modern programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, GraphQL, C++, and SQL. Familiarity with frameworks like Spring ORM, Spring Boot, Nuxt.js, Serverless Framework, NestJS, Next.js, Ruby on Rails (RoR), and Redux. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Competency in libraries/APIs including Node.js, Jenkins Pipeline, React, Vue, Vuex, API Development, Apache Lucene, and Protobuf. Proficient in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Skilled in paradigms such as Continuous Delivery (CD), Continuous Deployment, Continuous Integration (CI), Microservices, REST, Lambda Architecture, Serverless Architecture, Event-driven Architecture, DevOps, Database Design, Kanban, Concurrent Programming, Agile Software Development, Scrum, and Microservices Architecture.
Biotech / Domain: Understanding of biotech processes, data standards, and regulatory frameworks (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, data privacy).
Leadership: Strong people management, team building, and mentorship skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Analytical: Expertise in data analytics, AI/ML integration, digital twins, and advanced visualization tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
Other: Ability to manage ambiguity, drive innovation, and deliver solutions under tight deadlines in a regulated environment.
