Position Overview

The Director of Product Marketing, Enterprise Imaging manages our go to market strategy and needs for portfolio of products we sell into the Enterprise Imaging market. He/she would ensure we are effectively promoting the portfolio and brand, that our current customer satisfaction is high and referenceable at all times, that our customers are included in our promotional strategy, that our trade show and other external promotional activities are effective, that we are involved in the market through society activity, and that we ensure sales is prepared, supported, and armed to be successful. The role works closely and in tight collaboration with our customers, our MI sales organization, our marketing communications team, and our MI product management team. This role must consistently demonstrate effective leadership and partnership with all members of the HCUS Medical Informatics organization and work effectively with other cross-functional departments in the organization.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives the most effective go to market strategy for the current Enterprise Imaging product portfolio which includes a point-of-care ultrasound management solution, VNA, enterprise viewer and other ancillary products ensuring we exceed booking and revenue objectives.
  • Develops and drives the market and sales introduction strategy for new products ensuring we exceed initial targets.
  • Develops and maintains regional and national reference sites, ensuring they are always prepared to promote and provide reference for our solution, and that the process for utilizing is well defined and organized.
  • Collaborates closely with MI sales leaders to ensure sales always has the selling tools needed to be successful, to provide subject matter expertise, and demonstration support as needed.
  • Always maintains a high level of market interest and lead generation in product portfolio, from effective promotional messaging and activity, through close collaboration with marketing communications and sales leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with training manager to ensure all level of sales are prepared to effectively execute our go to market strategy and exceed their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing communications to ensure trade shows that promote our product portfolio are well planned, aligned with the go to market strategy, and well executed.
  • Develop a market facing communications strategy that provides continuous external focus on the portfolio messaging and branding through e-communications, web, symposium, customer profiles, webinars, and society work. The calendar of activity is always visible to sales and other departments, and your needs and strategy are well communicated and aligned with marketing communications for optimal execution.
  • Works closely with sales leadership and marketing communications to ensure our inside sales campaigns are effective, appropriately targeting priorities, and measured.
  • Supports the RFP team as a subject matter expert, ensuring RFP responses are complete, accurate, and effective
  • Works closely with our demo team to ensure the demo environment is always current and effective in demonstrating our solution.
  • Collaborates with product management team to provide competitive feedback, market intelligence, and product need input as captured from sales activity and existing customer field activity. Ensure compelling product roadmaps are available and aligned with market and customer needs.
  • Collaborates with other marketing directors to ensure consistency in approach and communications.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/MA, with 8+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare / Radiology Informatics product marketing.
  • Extensive experience in software promotion.
  • Extensive experience managing software product roadmaps and software development product collaboration.
  • Experience managing or supporting teams in Enterprise Imaging.
  • Broad functional expertise in marketing and sales, and experience in the areas of sales and marketing strategic planning, go to market product planning, and pricing strategies.
  • Proven track record of overachievement.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and create business impact.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and multiple direct reports.
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze and resolve at both a strategic and tactical level
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results as an individual and in support of teams.
  • Strong communication skills- presentation, written, and oral.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals.

  • Proficient in the use of SalesForce.com.

Physical Requirements:

  • The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:
  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Occasional (up to 25%) travel, including internationally, may be required based on business need.
