Position Overview

The Senior Clinical Consultant, MI - II International has advanced technical/Clinical skills and possesses advanced product knowledge required to mentor Clinical Consultants in clinical product optimization and the onsite and remote education of Physicians, IT/Clinical Systems Administrators, Technologists, Sonographers, and other Key Operators in the use of Fujifilm’s Medical Informatics.  The resource will assist with the development of international marketing materials and sales support.  

 

The Senior Clinical Consultant, MI - II International shall be responsible for providing clinical consulting for the project, report configuration (CV), workflow analysis, end-to-end testing, remote or onsite training as well as go-live support to Synapse PACS/MI projects.

 

The Senior Clinical Consultant, MI - II International ensures customer satisfaction by properly managing customer expectations and driving improved product awareness and understanding.

 

The Senior Clinical Consultant, MI - II International is the second level of local escalation for technical assessment, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization, and further escalation where needed to ensure that product integrity and performance levels meet customer expectations. Additionally, the Senior Clinical Consultant, MI - II International supports sales and field service efforts in high level strategic accounts by providing clinical consultation for developing and executing customized customer solutions, special projects, and equipment demonstrations.  The Senior Clinical Consultant is responsible for leading MI Synapse Projects. Assist with TAC Support as well as mentoring as well as mentoring International Sales and Support.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project lead consultant on behalf of customers and company personnel for up to 2 Synapse Products.
  • Makes appropriate contacts within HCUS and at the customer site to coordinate each training event.
  • Provides feedback to Customers, Sales, Field Service, Marketing, Engineering, and Product line management on equipment issues and customer concerns via written and verbal communication.
  • Independently assesses the customer’s level of comprehension to facilitate effective on-site training and optimal product operation, utilizing validated applications, protocols, and processes.
  • Provides on-going support to resolve application related and image quality concerns on both a product and system level.
  • Works closely with Interpreting physicians, clinicians, and other professional staff to ensure the proper and efficient operation of Fujifilm products.
  • Creates, Provides and maintains documentation to support customer training.
  • Provides additional training and consultation at a charge, contributing to Professional Services revenue goals.
  • Works with HCUS team to gain customer acceptance of the FUJIFILM Medical Systems solution.
  • Participates in teaching and training customers remotely or via a travel schedule consistent with the position's requirements and the needs of HCUS customers.
  • Provide clinical expertise, workflow analysis, report configuration (CV), end to end testing, for upgrades, and new implementations.
  • Drive process change to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements of the company’s quality management system.
  • Maintains effective communications and working relationships with all departments within HCUS (Service, Engineering, Integration, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, etc.).
  • Participates with Sales and Marketing staff to develop new products, services, and sales/marketing strategies. Reports any internal/external information and activities that may impact on customer satisfaction and/or HCUS’s future business activities.
  • Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed according to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Take corrective action, where appropriate.
  • Lead on various internal and external committees.
  • Drive performance improvement and strategic planning teams.
  • Provide advanced clinical experience, workflow analysis, report configuration (CV), end to end testing, for upgrades, and new implementations.
  • Participates in professional organizations.
  • Supports Senior and Lead Clinical Consultants with project duties within job skillset.
  • Provides telephone and remote clinical support for customers, sales, and field service via our ON-Call Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
  • Participate in Clinical Validations Testing for each software release of the product to further enhance the overall accuracy of the release.
  • All other functions and responsibilities that may be assigned by management.
  • Mentor Clinical Consultant, MI – I and II and Senior Clinical Consultant, MI – I.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties.

Qualifications:


Professional Experience:

  • 9-15 years of progressive experience in medical technology, Computer science, PACS Administration or healthcare industry, experience in Cardiology or Radiology discipline preferred.
  • Required 6 years' experience with FUJIFILM Medical System products (SYNAPSE, PACS, RIS, CV, Digital Radiography, Ultrasound and Digital mammography).
  • (CV)Registered in one or more of the following: (Preferred)
    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer RDCS experience in:
      • Transthoracic Echo
      • Transesophageal Echo
      • Stress Echo
      • Dobutamine Stress Echo
      • Pediatric Echo
      • Fetal Echo
      • ECG
    • (CV)Registered Vascular Technologist RVT experience in:
      • Non-invasive
    • (CV)Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in:
      • MPI
      • MUGA
      • PET
    • (CV)Registered Nurse Cardiac experience in:
      • Cath, Peripheral Angiography, Electrophysiology Lab experience
      • ECG
  • (Rad)ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist experienced in digital imaging. (Preferred)
  • Professional presence

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field required.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant Radiology field experience preferred.

Job Responsibility: International Travel Documentation:

  • Oversee the management, preparation, and maintenance of travel documents required to support international travel, including passports, visas, and other entry permits.
  • Ensure compliance with specific country entry requirements, regulations, and deadlines for business and personal travel purposes.
  • Research and stay informed about current travel restrictions, visa processes, and documentation requirements for destinations of travel.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external immigration authorities to obtain the necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Proactively track expiration and renewal dates for travel documents, ensuring travelers are prepared for international travel.
  • Maintain accurate records of international travel documentation for all employees and/or clients, streamlining processes for organizational efficiency.

  • To maintain this position, Senior Clinical Consultant, MI – II must: Comply with all Senior Clinical Consultant MI job duties as outlined.
  • All Clinical Consultants must complete company trainings and expenses within timely fashion.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge to include SWAT.

  • Ability to provide advanced Clinical support in two Synapse Disciplines.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
