FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Lifesciences is seeking a Manager or Senior Specialist in Technical Marketing—a crucial role with a global reach. This position requires significant technical and scientific knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and experience in biopharma CDMO services. Ideally you have experience in technical scientific writing or marketing strategy, scientific communication strategy, or from a technical sales environment.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Technical Marketing with no direct reports, you'll support the development of thought leadership content and strategy within the Global Marketing Strategy. Your focus will be on creating content that engages customers, showcases our expertise, differentiates our offerings, and drives business growth in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead thought leadership strategy and content aligned with global marketing initiatives across various modalities like Cell Culture, Microbial, Viral Vector, Vaccines, Cell and Gene Therapy, and more.
  • Maintain and improve a wide range of marketing materials including white papers, webinars, slide presentations, brochures, and website content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop positioning, messaging, and customer segmentation aligned with our offerings.
  • Work with SMEs and KOLs to create content that differentiates our services.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure timely and budget-friendly execution of content strategy.
  • Measure and adjust strategy based on KPIs and ROI to enhance engagement and conversion.

Qualifications:

  • BSc, Masters, or PhD in Biological Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field with at least 5 years in the Bio/Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, CRO, or CDMO industries.
  • Strong understanding of microbial, mammalian, and viral/gene therapy-based sectors.
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability in scientific writing and translating technical information into market messages.
  • Experience with technology transfer and principal unit operations in biopharmaceutical manufacturing is desirable.

Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects on time and on budget.
  • Familiarity with diverse marketing concepts and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SmartSheet, ShowPad, Adobe.
  • Experience working in a complex, dynamic, global environment with flexibility for travel.
