Position Overview

We are hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst. The Sr. Financial Analyst will create and distribute financial reports to management with analysis. Support cost center managers with financials and analysis to help them manage cost center expenses against budget more efficiently. Perform ad hoc assignments.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for budget/estimate/forecast updates in areas of Opex (cost center expenses)/CAPEX/HC
  • Responsible for Business PLs within SAP (Budget & Actual).
  • Partner with all functional  managers to ensure alignment and financial discipline, resulting in better expense management; Monthly financial presentations and reports to increase visibility and understanding of their financial variances between budget and actual; Investigate and address finance related inquiries accurately and timely in a detailed manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of key presentations to the executive and senior management with actionable recommendations for improving operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and understand current financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement with SAP and other systems.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close in partnership with Accounting members, analyzing variances, and presenting results.
  • Maintain and update SAP Allocations.
  • Perform various ad-hoc projects and analysis.

Required 

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Three to Five year’s consecutive experience in financial analysis or other equivalent experience.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Experience using ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office: Excel, PowerPoint Word, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in analysis, financial detailing and standard accounting.
  • Understanding of fixed asset standard accounting.
  • Good knowledge of the General Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Must be proficient with using of PC operating system functions.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to speak and read English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with internal customers in a professional manner. 

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $88,452 - $115,293. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
