Lead a strong team of marketing, sales, and customer support professionals.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions

 

  1. Strengthen and drive FCDI’s commercial capabilities with leadership across sales, marketing, product management, and customer support to grow operating profit.
  2. Refresh and implement iPSC Go-To-Market strategies for product and services to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  3. Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, licensing, co-development opportunities and strategic acquisitions.
  4. Manage and profitably grow existing partnerships and customer relationships; works collaboratively across Fujifilm Life Sciences’ Commercial and leadership teams to deliver on business plan and strengthen partnerships across the network.
  5. Identify, develop, and execute the company's overall business strategy, collaborating with senior executives across FUJIFILM Lifesciences.
  6. Provide strong leadership to oversee the development and execution of established business plans and budgets.
  7. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
  8. Oversee product management to deliver succinct and accurate product requirements based on market needs and voice of customer.
  9. Develop and coordinate with internal and group partners around messaging, branding, and promotion strategies.
  10. Deliver revenue forecasts for managing financials and accurate production planning in the S&OP process.
  11. Set product pricing based on market positioning and sales and profit targets.
  12. Facilitate and coach team on contract negotiation and growing future revenue pipeline through licensing, custom cell banks, cell therapy manufacturing and other business opportunities.
  13. Provide FCDI input to the Life Science strategic office to guide external partnerships and to assist in the development of strategies and tactics for Fujifilm Life Sciences.
  14. Select, motivate and retain skilled staff in marketing, licensing, product development, business development, customer application and customer support, and project management teams.
  15. Establish, manage and ensure a network of outside collaborators in the cell and gene therapy market to include government and industry partners to ensure FCDI goals are achieved. 

  

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of commercial and marketing experience in the cell and gene therapy industry with a focus on product and services.
  • A bachelor’s degree in biological science or similar field, an advanced degree preferred.
  • Results-oriented with excellent leadership, business acumen, and communication skills focusing on commercial strategy, revenue generation, and production planning support.
  • Strong market experience in cell therapy and iPSC product applications and related technologies.
  • Strong financial, business modeling, ROI, strategic planning and business integration skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and to work independently and collaboratively,
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills; able to build and maintain relationships with individuals and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct multiple large complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer-oriented skills in technical support and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and develop action plans.
  • Strong leadership skills within cross functional teams; a demonstrated leader through influence.
  • On-site presence in Madison, WI at least once/month.
  • Travel 30-35%, to include occasional international travel.
