Position Overview

We are hiring for a Wall Décor Operator for the Imaging Division (ID) which provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The position is responsible for efficiently working with materials in the production area, while effectively operating and maintaining equipment with limited assistance. This position reports to the Production Supervisor in Greenwood, SC

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Presses and cuts products according to specifications.
  • Ensures accuracy and consistency of quality output. Continually inspects jobs coming off all equipment for completeness, accuracy, and defects. Notifies team lead if tolerances reach upper or lower limit quality standards.   Forwards complete work to appropriate departments for completion.
  • Inspects and prepares products for shipping.
  • Keeps all products organized and in the proper location. Dumps trash and recycles items in proper locations. Cleans and maintains products, machines, and / or work areas.
  • Determines the materials and supplies needed for production before beginning production.
  • Communicates effectively, efficiently, and appropriately with all employees.
  • May provide employees with basic training as needed.
  • Follows established Environmental/Health/Safety (EHS) guidelines as pertains to safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Completes all paperwork required according to procedures.
  • Cross training into other areas of production may be needed based on business needs.

Required Skills/Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 months’ work experience in production/manufacturing.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, production oriented, team environment.
  • The position requires a focus on quality and detail.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
