We are hiring a Part Time (20 hours per week) General Laboratory Specialist. The General Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for cleaning of laboratory floors, glassware and laboratory cabinet wipe down (Counter tops are the responsibility of the scientists).

Part time: Morning 8-12 or 9 -1 M-F

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean environment in all general laboratory areas
• Mops Laboratory floors at least once per week
• Wipes down exterior of cabinets and benches at least once per week
• Pulls trash receptacles out of laboratories on designated days
• Performs glassware cleaning as per site specific SOPs
• Ensures that all cleaning procedures are properly followed
• Completes all necessary cleaning log books
• Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor

Required Skills/Education

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• While cleaning experience is preferred, it is not a requirement
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
