Position Overview

Good data is the key to the future success of the company, and this role is essential to ensuring our data is the best in the industry!  The Data Analyst is responsible for matching and cleaning customer data between disparate applications ensuring complete alignment to support automation projects.

 

The Data Operations Specialist (Temporary - 3 months) is responsible for maintaining and managing customer and item catalog data for FUJIFILM Sonosite and VisualSonics.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create the link between customer data in various systems.
  • Cross reference multiple systems and sources to validate customer account information, and merge or eliminate duplicates as necessary.
  • Identify and perform data cleansing where necessary.
  • Move customer assets to the proper account.
  • Conduct audits to validate the results of customer data cleaning.
  • Assist the data management team with cleanup and integration efforts as needed.
  • Work across multiple departments to determine the correct customer accounts.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Statistics, or Reporting related field.
  • 3+ years in a technical data role.
  • Knowledge of computer system applications: Microsoft Office (E-mail, Excel and Word), Oracle ERP, Salesforce.com.
  • Working experience with Oracle e-Business Suite CRM Modules or equivalent is preferred.
  • Database fundamentals required.
  • SQL experience required.
  • ETL experience is a bonus.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Working experience with SQL Server.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and related transactional data sets across applications.
  • Ability to understand and follow transactional data flows.
  • Keen eye to spot discrepancies.
  • Very strong attention to detail, with a passion for accuracy; data must be precise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to make decisions based on guidance provided.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs with or without accommodations.
