Job Description

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Assist and collaborate with senior leadership in developing and implementing advanced project management methodologies and processes.
  • Drive project and program portfolio management including selection, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the primary liaison for program planning and execution from contract signature to program closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication across project and program teams to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while monitoring project/program progress, financial status, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to understand and fulfill business needs, including communicating updates to leadership at predefined milestones.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of project/program activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Conduct Stage Gate reviews, lead meetings for escalation and risk management, and manage program documentation effectively.
  • Promote continuous improvement and encourage innovative solutions across projects and programs.
  • Coach and mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators as needed.
  • Ensure all contractual elements are completed, including financial activities, revenue milestones, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with functional teams for efficient delivery and identify opportunities for additional work within current contracts.
  • Responsible for authoring Scopes of Work, Change Orders, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Continuous improvement and implementation of program management systems and training.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership and vision with experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Superior executive communication skills and strategic influence with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in comprehensive risk management and opportunity leadership.
  • Advanced financial acumen with skills in resource optimization.
  • Mastery in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in change management strategy across diverse business units.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer applications and enterprise project management tools.
  • Knowledgeable in quality systems, cGMP guidelines, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Bio-Medical Sciences, or related field.
  • Extensive relevant project management experience, preferably in biopharmaceutical or CDMO environments.
  • Certifications in Project/Risk Management or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
  • Experience in a cGMP facility or working with FDA regulations.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, and enterprise systems.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and stretching required.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.
  • Normal vision range.
