Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Operations Senior Specialist is a global role requiring proven experience in developing, managing and optimizing the marketing technology stack and ecosystem. This role within the Global Marketing team is responsible for executing omni-channel demand generation campaigns. The individual will also develop and maintain SEO optimized web-pages, configure lead capture platforms for events, and deliver timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and analytics across the managed platforms enabling the Global Marketing team to achieve optimal results.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing Operations, the individual will execute omni-channel demand generation campaigns, assist in testing new tools and campaign strategies to optimize the customer journey with goal of increasing customer engagement, lead generation and conversion.

 

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the execution of digital marketing campaign strategies and tactics aligned with company objectives and Strategic Marketing plans for each service offering to increase brand awareness, drive web traffic, customer engagement, and to generate high-quality marketing leads (MQLs) within the biopharma industry.
  • Ensures all marketing digital tactics comply with data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, by supporting the implementation of robust data protection and privacy measures, conducting regular audits, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Supports the execution of digital marketing omni-channel demand generation campaigns in collaboration with the Strategic Marketing team and Social Media Manager across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, advertising, webinars, events and third party platforms among others.
  • Utilizes Google Analytics, Sales Force, Tableau, Business Objects, Data Bricks and other data analytics tools to track, measure, analyze and report the performance of demand generation campaign strategies, identifying areas for improvement and optimized conversion rates. Report insights to marketing team, stakeholders and Senior Leadership
  • Supports the development of marketing dashboards that deliver timely, accurate and insightful information by service offering, campaign, region, tactic, customer segment and line of business to empower Strategic Marketing team to optimize campaign results. Executes digital responsibilities with clear processes and procedures for efficient and effective management of digital ecosystem.
  • Collaborates with Sales Force team to ensure marketing campaigns, dashboards and reports collect and accurately measure marketing qualified leads (MQLS), conversion rates to sales qualified leads (SQLs), opportunities and conversions throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align digital marketing operations efforts with overall business objectives to support lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives. Manages all digital projects and tactics seamlessly through to execution.
  • Stays up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, data privacy, and biotech industry developments, and implement innovative technology strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Perform other activities as assigned

Minimum Education and Background Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field with 8+ years work experience in Digital Marketing Operations within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries or;
  • master’s degree in business, marketing, data analytics or related field with 5+ years work experience in digital marketing operations within the biopharma industry,
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing Platforms, Web Content Management Systems, UX, Digital Analytic Tools, Marketing Automation, Email Marketing (Marketo), Sales Force, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and other marketing technology platforms
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and experience implementing data privacy and protection measures in digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent customer service skills in a team environment
  • Prior experience in the biotech/biopharma B2B industry or a strong interest in the field is highly desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, influence key stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and stay on budget.
  • Ability to integrate, manipulate and analyze data and produce reports with actionable insights to optimize campaigns, improve conversion rates, and drive business growth
