Position Overview

We are hiring a new Marketing Technology (MarTech) Manager, D2C E-Commerce will report directly to the Director of Marketing, Photofinishing (ID) and will be responsible for implementing the MarTech stack needed to launch Fujifilm’s D2C E-Commerce platform, along with managing and optimizing the stack after launch to meet business goals.  This position will also be responsible for hiring and training an Assistant MarTech Manager within the first 12 months of their role.  Responsibilities will be managing a new program.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

  • As MarTech lead, your core objective is to enhance our marketing technology capabilities to drive customer engagement and business growth
  • Be the thought leader and business owner for all MarTech related topics
  • Serve as a bridge between marketing and the development teams and play a key role in enabling more data-driven marketing campaigns for Fujifilm's D2C e-commerce website
  • Bring a strategic mindset and technical proficiency to optimize our marketing technology stack and drive business growth
  • Collaborate in the creation of business strategies and marketing plans
  • Act as the main point of contact with our software development team by translating marketing needs to define technical project requirements
  • Work closely with business, marketing and product teams to align strategies and bridge communication gaps
  • Evaluate and manage marketing technology tools to enhance effectiveness
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of MarTech stack
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for optimal productivity
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in email marketing and CRM technologies, applying best practices to continuously enhance our strategies and systems
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring the best technology solutions are sourced and implemented
  • Ensure data security and governance principles are maintained
  • Collaborate with software development on data integrations, compliance, and data sharing and backend integration for our marketing campaigns
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends, and make adoption recommendations
  • Partner with marketers to develop new dashboards and metrics as needed
  • Own marketing reporting, data, and dashboards as it pertains to the MarTech stack

 Email + Marketing Automation Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the deployment and management of marketing automation platforms ensuring they meet business requirements and drive actionable insights including web tag management, email automation, MarTech data feed syncs like products, customers and transaction data
  • Create and execute sophisticated email marketing strategies and CRM management to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Develop and execute aligned SMS strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate email/SMS marketing with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive communication strategy across all channels
  • Manage and optimize CRM processes to improve customer data analysis and segmentation, facilitating targeted and personalized marketing efforts
  • Oversee the creation of email content in alignment with marketing plans, including design, copywriting, and A/B testing to ensure high open and click-through rates
  • Monitor and report on the performance of email marketing campaigns and CRM initiatives, using analytics to drive improvements and innovation in our approach
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
  • Monitor and report on email campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and use data insights to continually optimize email content, timing, and strategies for maximum customer engagement and retention 

Responsible for the following supervisory responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hiring and training an Assistant MarTech Manager within the first 12 months of their role
  • Provide clear objectives and work assignments for the team
  • Monitor and track employee performance and provides regular and timely feedback
  • Identify training and growth opportunities to advance the individual team member
  • Accomplish staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
  • Effectively manage team deliverables
  • Review and approve timesheets for contractors (as needed)
  • Recruit and onboard contractors as needed for various projects; whether working with Fujifilm HR or outside placement agencies to find the talent needed for the project. 

Required Skills/Education

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role at the intersection of ecommerce, marketing technology and data, with a proven track record of driving technology initiatives in the retail sector
  • Technical expertise in marketing technologies
  • Experience with web tag management systems (preferably Google Tag Manager) and their application in digital marketing
  • Proven experience of successfully working with stakeholders across the organization, especially marketing teams, and influencing decisions pertaining to the usage of data & insights for decisions
  • Must have experience using project management tools like Smartsheet
  • Experience with ESP deployment and integrations
  • Experience working closely with vendors, managing project scope, support, schedules and deliverables
  • Experience working on the technology side of retail, with a solid understanding of ecommerce and in-store operations
  • Ability to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of MarTech solutions, aligning them with overall business goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Data Studio for data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation
  • Strong ability to translate technical details into digestible summaries for a non-technical audience
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Innovative with a goal of continuous improvement
  • Customer-centric mindset

Salary and Benefits: (Include for roles that are/can be based in NY and CO)
