Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management activities with internal and external cross-functional teams for the preparation of statements of work, specifications, requirements and project plan documentation that clearly specify project goals, scope, approach, work, deliverables, responsibilities, schedules, estimates, success criteria, risks and assumptions.
  • Monitor and communicate accurate project status including project schedule and plan completion via scheduled meetings and regular status reports and metrics.
  • Manage all system infrastructure, technical specifications, validation testing, project task scheduling and resource assignments across full project time to achieve a Go decision for production systems.
  • Continuously assess customer priorities, project conflicts, constraints, risks and change requests to ensure cross team and customer alignment.
  • Manage all external partner support tickets through a multi-tier support process.
  • Provide regular status for support activities including metrics and trending analysis to support process improvements, system enhancements and customer engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and integrated system vendors to support cross platform project management, synchronized system designs and coordinated task completion.
  • Partner with Legal, Quality and Regulatory divisions for review and consultation of project compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidance’s for health care systems with special emphasis on pathology.
  • Support the Sales organization on RFPs and estimates for prospective customers and the customer onboarding process which require partnership solutions, products or services.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of client support, interaction and/or technical expertise
  • 5+ years technical experience with technical implementations of medical software systems
  • 5+ years technical leadership experience with medical software teams and customers
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Some (up to 20%) travel may be required based on business need.
