    Job Summary:


     The Clinical Product Specialist is expected to be an expert of diagnostic image quality for the POC customer.     


    Essential Job Functions: 

    • Works closely with Ultrasound Engineering to develop diagnostic image quality during the iterative optimization process. 
    • Receives feedback on image quality preferences from internal and external customers and translates it into visibly improved diagnostic ultrasound imaging modes. 
    • Responsible for determining the need for and type of imaging models for an accurate representation of anatomy across different body types.
    • Works closely with Clinical Validation Engineers to translate user feedback into image quality improvements throughout the product development cycle. 

    Knowledge and Experience: 

    • Must have prior experience optimizing diagnostic ultrasound images in an industry setting.    
    • Clear understanding of and the ability to translate ultrasound physics principals into accurate ultrasound images. 
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.
    • Current ARDMS credentials
    • Knowledge of POC imaging needs and environments is preferred.
    • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to understand both the clinical and business needs of the customer and SonoSite respectively.
    • Ability to think about the application of diagnostic ultrasound in non-traditional ways is also a must.
    • Proficient with MS office.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
