Position Overview

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and measuring the effectiveness of all marketing communications materials and campaigns across an exciting portfolio of innovative and market-leading products in Core and Interventional GI within the Endoscopy division of FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation.  This includes a variety of external and internal channels such as web, email, social media, advertising, events, and video, as well as digital platforms for sales enablement and video.  This role develops and employs effective, results-driven marketing and communications strategies and engaging content in support of lead generation, sales enablement, and building brand credibility, leveraging aforementioned channels and platforms. The Marketing Communications Manager will partner with and belong to an exceptionally engaged, skilled, and motivated team. This role works collaboratively with team leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Marketing & Communications team members, business stakeholders, and vendors to develop and manage content from inception through final deployment, with on-going review and measurement of communications effectiveness, leveraging established and new analytics This role reports to the Director, Marketing & Communications in the Endoscopy division.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Develop and deploy engaging content for the Core and Interventional GI Endoscopy lines of business for marketing communications and sales enablement. (70% of the time)

  • Develop and deploy strategies for the communication of new product launches in support of sales enablement, market awareness, and lead generation.
  • Develop and deploy communication campaigns for existing key products and service within the GI and Interventional endoscopy portfolios that support sales enablement, market awareness, lead generation, and customer support.
  • Understand marketing business objectives as articulated by leadership, manager, and SMEs to then articulate and incorporate the value proposition and differentiators for the innovative Core GI and Interventional products and services delivered to the endoscopy market.
  • Develop and/or edit relevant and compelling digital marketing content for the Endoscopy division website, microsites, landing pages, video, email, advertising, marketing presentations, etc. as it relates to Core and Interventional GI products, keeping content fresh and current.
  • Develop and/or edit relevant and compelling digital content that the Field sales and support team can utilize for sales communications related to product launches, product positioning, messaging, brochures, fact sheets, technique spotlights, how-to guides, etc.
  • Participate in and lead the development of Core and Interventional GI marketing communications campaign planning through to execution and reporting on results.
  • Create content that serves the objectives and tactical deliverables of the product launch/campaign plans across Endoscopy communications channels.

2. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders from across the endoscopy organization to develop and deliver tactical plans that help drive communication and engagement. (30% of the time):

  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with manager, SMEs, marketing communications and corporate communications team members that enable the development of ideas and completion of tactics.
  • Employ strong content coordination across teams to execute product launch, campaign, and sales enablement tactics.
  • Establish or adapt work processes to manage a broad array of content development campaigns and projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage content for various marketing campaigns primarily in digital but also in traditional mediums, optimizing and driving results with key target audiences.
  • Manage the day-to-day content creation projects and processes required; surfacing, and appropriately addressing challenges to progress.
  • Provide proactive and timely communication of and adherence to content and project deadlines as well as Fujifilm regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements for content.
  • Partner effectively with both external vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure that design and layout of materials supports written content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business is required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing communications manager role in healthcare, medical device preferred, or endoscopy is a plus.
  • 10+ years of writing experience in the healthcare industry is required. Experience in developing content within the medical device industry is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communications skills are required.
  • Proven ability to develop creative marketing content, strategies, and approaches to work.
  • Proven ability to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and employ analytical skills, understanding and identifying Key Performance Indicators and data-driven insights.
  • Experience working in a government-regulated environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration skills, and ability to work with colleagues at all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, while also providing project updates and knowing when to ask for and employ guidance.
  • Working with a sense of urgency and timeliness in communication.
  • Understanding and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritization of work to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity/experience with Showpad is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat a plus.
  • Familiarity with private video channels such as Wistia or Vimeo a plus.

Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, ability to use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., e.g. computer monitor, laptop, etc.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Travel:

  • This role can be remote (Eastern Time zone location strongly preferred) and requires less than 15% travel.
