Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support with system backups
  • Support with drawing updates (Visio)
  • Support with network wiring
  • Support with PC hardware (hard drives, memory, power supplies...)
  • Account management (Active Directory)
  • PC upgrade projects
  • Printer issues
  • Depending on time, graphics, or system improvements
  • Support with Commercial software installs like GE’s Unicorn system, Emerson’s DeltaV and others
  • Network Security support and network switches and VLAN configuration support
  • CAPA’s
  • Deviations and Change Control
  • SOP updates
  • WO implementation

Qualifications / Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field.
  • Two – Five years of working experience supporting development organization.
  • Network infrastructure, servers, and operating system support
  • Support manufacturing software and network connectivity issues as well as equipment PC/Thin client hardware
  • Windows operating system and Active Directory (workstation/Thin Clients and server if possible)
  • VMware, Hyper V, and Virtualization in server environments
  • Cisco Routers/Switches
  • Scripting (VBS preferably or Batch Command File)
  • Troubleshooting guidelines and support for plant operators and for maintenance personnel
  • Excellent customer service
  • Good documentation experience
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP processes

 Physical Requirements:

  • The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed
  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to
  • 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 25% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

  •  Occasional (up to 10%) travel may be required based on business needs.
