Position Overview

We are hiring a Warehouse Operations Coordinator for our Greenwood, SC location. Under limited supervision, the Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for the effective execution of order processing, receiving, storing, picking, packaging, and shipping accurately and timely. Works independently and is actively communicating with warehouse supervisors and manager. Required to assist with training of associates and assigned special projects as needed. Ability to apply general direction, problem solve, and ensure leadership awareness with minimal assistance. 

 

This person is responsible for the coordination of work for ~40 warehouse workers (full-time and contractor).  The Warehouse Operations Coordinator reinforces Fujifilm’s leadership values by transforming the distribution area into a customer focused, proactive operation that will help drive Fujifilm’s business.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Coordinates the distribution and warehousing activities in a multi-shift operation including employee staffing, equipment reliability, safety & quality assurance, operating procedures, and shipping compliance. Contributes to budget control and cost-reduction opportunities. Reviews/improves process efficiencies through effective team collaboration. Instrumental with executing the goals and objectives of the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager.

  • Coordinates, provides guidance, and reviews work of warehouse workers
  • Monitors warehouse workers ensuring all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Assigns daily workload to warehouse workers
  • Assists with all warehouse tasks, depending on priorities designated by the Operations Supervisor or Regional Operations Manager
  • Prepares documents in accordance with applicable policy and procedures
  • Keeps work areas clean and organized.
  • Monitors all areas to ensure housekeeping is constantly maintained
  • Contacts freight carriers to schedule pick-up/delivery/status of shipment
  • Capable of performing in more than one job assignment.
  • May be used in a utility type role to perform several different assignments daily.
  • Performs all assignments expeditiously and without hesitation
  • Performs any other assignments as required by the supervisor/manager

Required Skills/Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proven track record of being a high-performer and contributor in meeting company/department goals and objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, multi-task operation
  • Excellent math skills
  • Excellent communication skills. This includes electronic, verbal and written.

Desired Skills

  • Two years of experience in warehouse leadership (coordinator) or equivalent
  • Product and process knowledge of FNAC GSD/ID and FA raw materials a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word & excel
  • Proven track record in problem solving and process improvement efforts
  • Key contributor in project work
  • Train-the-trainer for powered industrial trucks
  • Effective internal and external customer relations
