Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, Arizona facility for a Material Handler Technician!  The role of the Material Handler Technician is to support CMP Manufacturing with the necessary raw materials/supplies to sustain HVM operations without interruption.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

 

  • Receive and store incoming raw material shipments (fork truck, pallet jack, yard tractor)
  • Log intermediate & raw material samples into LIMS
  • Produce chemical intermediates for Mesa, FETW, and FEMK sites
  • Issue MRFs and resample containers as necessary
  • Collaborate with FGWH and RMWH to maintain accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Produce / compound intermediate batches to support Mesa, Korea, and Taiwan HVM operations.
  • Additional job tasks include cycle counts, engineering materials sampling, Yard Tractor operation, CMP warehouse organization and area inspections.
  • Conduct inventory counts as needed – checking physical count vs inventory in SAP
  • Down-pack and/or relabel products into totes, drums/pails as needed to support customer requirements
  • Conduct sample shipments as needed to support customers, FETW, and FEMK
  • Execute special projects to support CMP Technicians, CMP Supervision, and CMP Engineering
  • Conduct dock audits and support Finished Goods Warehouse, as needed
  • Conduct 5S as needed to maintain a clean and orderly workspace
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years chemical compounding experience preferred
  • Requires individuals with the ability to safely handle/compound chemistries with exceptional attention to safety and detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team driven environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and shift focus as the situation requires
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in larger group settings
  • Identify, inspect, ensure accuracy, and store incoming raw materials
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications
  • SAP / Inventory Control experience preferred
  • LIMS and CPRO experience a plus
  • Experience with stand-up forklifts required
  • Yard Tractor experience or willingness to learn preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
