The Director of Strategy and Execution will serve as a key advisor to the Site Head, overseeing both daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives. This role involves strategic guidance, leadership of key events and teams, and facilitation of communication with stakeholders. The Director of Strategy and Execution support the Site head and acts as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, the Director will lead and coordinate major projects, support strategic processes such as annual strategy and budget planning, and collaborate with corporate communications and Investor Relations. This position requires a dynamic leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing complex operations and driving continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities/Principal accountabilities

  1. Act as a trusted advisor to the Site head, assisting with strategic tasks and operational decisions.
  2. Facilitate communication and act as Site head liaison to internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and overseeing content for events and presentations, internally and externally.
  3. Lead and manage senior leadership team forums and events, and ensure alignment with site objectives.
  4. Coordinate and finalize content for the quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
  5. Support enterprise strategic processes, including annual strategy and budget planning.
  6. Identify new opportunities, challenges or risks to business growth and improvement, through e.g. data analysis, performance monitoring and market research.
  7. Support and/or lead initiatives and teams to ensure successful execution and implementation of key strategic initiatives, incl. ensuring deliverables align with site objective and teams coordinate with cross-functionally.
  8. Collaborate with corporate communications to create content for internal communications, including town halls and newsletters.
  9. Work with Investor Relations to prepare the Site Head for investor meetings and presentations.

Education and experience requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related executive training/certification; advanced degree preferred and 10 (ten) years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership or Strategy and Execution role, preferably within a manufacturing environment, supporting C-suite leaders.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and organizing multiple teams and departments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
