Summary:

 

As the Leader, Program Management, you will lead the Project Management Office with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical staff to deliver best in class results on our business objectives.  You will drive high levels of schedule and budget accountability throughout program teams and assist other Program Managers with high-level training and directional assistance. You will act as the key PMO pillar within the organization and be directly responsible for driving results in the realization of world-class point of care ultrasound products. As the Program Management Leader, you will be comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail.  This role requires an individual with excellent communication and cross-functional management abilities, who thrives in finding simple solutions to complex problems across the business. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand use cases, define requirements, and perform business analysis.
  • Apply project management discipline to develop plans, define scope, document requirements, and manage budget/schedule/resources for a complex group of projects.
  • Use best-in-class project management techniques to achieve project goals on time and on cost, while managing expectations of stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with other Program Managers and people leaders toward common visions and goals.
  • Drive the tracking and management of roadmaps, project schedules, risks/mitigation plans, deliverables, and KPI’s.
  • Communicate program status, program readiness, business and technical issues, risks and their resolution across Engineering, including senior management.
  • Utilize your technical background to help drive resolution to complex technical issues across various teams.
  • Champion the usage of Agile project management methodologies
  • Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Developing program managers as leaders of teams that define, design, develop, and deliver POCUS and VisualSonics products.
  • Defining and fostering adoption of high-performance behavior norms across the organization and PMO evolution on driving best practices while chairing the Product Realization Committee (PRC).
  • Continuous improvement of the Product Realization Process (PRP) standardizing Program Management Tools and Data Systems to create a “single source of truth.”

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science discipline, master’s or equivalent preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in product development project management from concept development to production release.
  • PMP or other Program Management Certificates highly desirable
  • Proven record of accomplishment in the management of cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Experience with medical devices and medical devices regulatory requirements in highly desirable areas.
  • Progressive hardware and software development experience required.
  • Adoption of Agile best practices.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $180,000.00 - $240,000.00/year + variable bonus opportunity
