    Job purpose

     

    The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will serve as FMSU’s digital and online subject matter expert, planning and managing digital, online and multimedia marketing communications activities in support of business goals and objectives. Supports digital content generation, online demand creation, and execution for the FMSU product portfolio, including e-mail, web, digital advertising, search, and social media.  Additionally, he/she will provide strategic guidance, creative direction, and a digital vision to support BU and corporate marketing strategy.

    Duties and responsibilities

     

    • Develop, plan, coordinate, and execute overall digital marketing strategy for the FMSU business in support of corporate and BU marketing goals.
    • Strategically recommend digital marketing opportunities in support of business goals based on an understanding of external trends and how they can meet product/customer needs.
    • Define key performance indicators for all digital efforts, track, and regularly report out on successes and learning.
    • Identify areas of digital enhancement that more effectively deliver against marketing strategy and/or drive efficiencies and cost savings for our business.
    • Implements all website updates, including publishing new content and updating existing content.
    • Develops strong relationships with and oversees work of digital agency partners.
    • Bring key components of strategic initiatives through marketing and regulatory review (ETQ) to ensure efforts meet compliance, legal and regulatory needs.
    • Establish content marketing, demand creation, marketing automation and lead management programs in partnership with marketing communications, downstream marketing and sales to nurture prospects throughout the buyer’s journey resulting in opt-in list growth and qualified lead targets.
    • Act as the owner for FMSU marketing technology including our marketing automation platform, sales asset management tools, and video editing software.
    • Develop and manage video, animation, PowerPoint and multi-media production and publishing in support of business needs.
    • Be go-to resource for best practices, industry trends, and procedures for FMSU digital space.
    • Will play a key role in FMSU’s growing content marketing strategy.
    • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations and standards.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Four-year Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
    • 6-9 years of experience working with digital marketing channels and with website management.
    • Understanding of inbound and outbound marketing tools (e.g. Mail Chimp, Hubspot).
    • Ability to edit and produce video, multimedia, and digital content.
    • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
    • Understanding of SEO and SEM best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability with HTML and CSS, Hootsuite, Facebook, Google Analytics, SEO and SEM, and WordPress.
    • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external groups including marketing, sales, senior management and outside agency resources.
    • Experience with lead management, qualification, nurturing, and marketing automation.
    • Understanding of B2B, preferably in healthcare.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once.
    • Excellent communication skills and positive can-do attitude.
    • Creative and resourceful, can think outside of the box.

     

    Physical requirements

     

    The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

     

    • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
    • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
    • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
    • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
    • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

     

    TRAVEL:

    Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
