    Job Summary:

     

    The Information Systems Engineer II will adapt and maintain the operating system for products as part of the Software Platform Team. This is a unique position that is touching on many aspects of hardware, software and networking elements. The person who fill this position will help establish and achieve the project goals and objectives with internal and external parties.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

     

    • Adapting Windows operating system to new products.
    • Implementing changes with impact, risk and security analysis in mind.
    • Project related support for other departments.
    • Modify documents and create new documentation for development.
    • Diagnose and fix problems (electrical, software, hardware, networking).
    • Provide meaningful input on hardware and software component choices and configuration.
    • Provide timely updates on project status and issues.

    Knowledge and Experience:

     

    • BS in Computer Science or related field, or 7+ years of experience in IT administration, and/or software development.
    • Extensive Windows Server experience ( with focus on Active Domain and certificate management).
    • Experience managing Windows images (creation, modification, distribution), using MS tools. SCCM knowledge preferred.
    • Deep understanding of Windows 10.
      • Very familiar with Windows Registry, Group Policy, Security Policies.
      • Familiar with security features that apply to Windows 10 (SecureBoot, VBS, TPM configuration, EMET, etc.)
      • Basic familiarity with EFI shell, understanding of UEFI
    • MS Server certifications, security certificates and networking oriented certifications are all a plus.
    • Basic knowledge of GIT a plus.
    • Knowledge of Powerhell, VBScript Batch Scripting.
    • C/C++ entry level skills desired.
    • Prior exposure to medical devices security or hospital IT is beneficial.
    • Ability to analyze, narrow down and solve wide-scoped problems.
    • Ability to travel up to 10%of the time.
    • Ability to be a contributing member of a multi-disciplined and global team.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Good understanding of common network protocols and wireless communication.
