    We are hiring a NDT Technical Imaging Specialist for ideally Shelton or Wilton, Connecticut.  We are looking for an individual with a strong NDT background or an IT technician interested in pursuing a career in the nondestructive testing field who will report to the NDT Technical Manager. A successful Technical Imaging Specialist must have a thorough knowledge of NDT radiographic techniques, digital equipment and computer software skills. The ideal candidate will also have excellent troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The focus of this position is Fujifilm NDT’s digital-imaging equipment and software, which includes Computed Radiography (CR), Digital Detector Arrays (DDA), network servers and film-digitizers.

    • Perform Digital-Imaging application testing in support of sales efforts.
    • Pre-stage and QA all digital-imaging systems before shipment.
    • Installation of equipment and software at customer site.
    • Provide on-site customer operational training
    • Maintain and upgrade digital-imaging systems for NDT Lab and field demos.
    • Perform software QA and testing.
    • Qualify all computer hardware and OS changes prior to market launch.
    • Provide archival and networking solutions for current and potential customer.
    • Provide phone and on-site trouble shooting and technical support as needed.
    • Maintain database of all equipment and software installations.
    • Participate on technical committees (ASTM, ASNT, ASME…) in support of Fujifilm equipment and software interests.


    • Degree in Industrial Technology (NDT), Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
    • Proven experience in either the NDT or IT field.
    • Diagnostic and problem solving competencies.
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Organizational and time-management skills.
    • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.


    • 3+ years’ experience in radiography or networking.
