    Job Summary:

     

    The Sr. Validation & Verification Engineer will work cohesively with the core development team to plan and execute verification test projects. Write test plans that may include hardware, system & software testing. The person filling this position will develop, release, and execute test protocols, and support the automated test effort by writing/running test scripts.  This person will also educate other functions within the team about how their verification strategies fit into the overall verification of the designs.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

     

    • Write test plans and test cases
    • Design and develop demonstration tests (auto and manual)
    • Execute tests per established practices 
    • Design and develop automated test programs 
    • Review requirements for testability
    • Review test procedures and plans 

     

    Knowledge and Experience:

     

    • BS Engineering, physics or computer science (or equivalent work experience).
    • 5-7 years relevant industry experience.
    • Experience in product development from concept to release.
    • ISO, FDA or other regulated industry training and/or experience.
    • Experience in medical ultrasound imaging is desired.
    • Experience in Python, JAMA, Git, and Gerrit is desired.
    • Experience working with continuous integration tools to monitor test automation (Jenkins) is desired
    • Experience with MS Office.
    • Experience with Linux is desired

     

    Skills and Abilities:

     

    • Demonstrated experience developing and executing test procedures.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility in work hours required to meet program completion dates.
    • Able to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
