The Role

 

The primary responsibility of the CMP Quality Manufacturing Technician II is to collaborate with CMP Manufacturing Manager, Raw Materials Coordinator, and Finished Goods Warehouse on completion of dock audits for outgoing CMP finished goods. Collaborate with the CMP Manufacturing Manager on implementation of dock audit through MII for improved traceability. Collaborate with other production support to assure samples, data collection and data input on occurring as required. Additional job tasks include maintaining dock audit & logbook forms via document control, working with CMP Process Engineering on collection of samples and/or data for product or monitoring system health. Serve as a backup for similar production support personnel.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assure that all operations are carried out safely and correctly
  • Complete dock audits for CMP finished goods
  • Collaborate w/ manufacturing team on MII implementation for dock audit process & maintain completed documents/photos for quality assurance.
  • Regular collection of samples for data collection for HEPA filters, DI Water and others, as required.
  • Maintain and take responsibility for completion of CMP logbooks including production retain log, waste handling, dust log emissions, and forklift safety inspections.
  • Assist engineering with collecting and processing additional product sampling when requested
  • May perform weekly cycle counts supporting operations (filters, RM’s, FG’s)
  • May place orders in SAP for consumable items and spare parts used in day-to-day operations
  • May assist with data entry into LIMS
  • Coordinates with the Manufacturing Manager and Engineering Manager on any issues related to safety, quality, and/or HR policies
  • Ensures that daily housekeeping and 5S activities are successfully completed

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, 5 years + preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with stand-up forklifts
  • Previous training or lead experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Required knowledge and experience with SAP, LIMS & CompliantPro
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, bend, climb and reach
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
  • Must have a valid Arizona drivers’ license and clean driving record
  • Experience in operating a forklift and other manufacturing tools
  • Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
