We are hiring a Sr Lab Coordinator. The Sr. Lab Coordinator oversees, coordinates and supports laboratory operations, including safety and equipment.

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee, coordinate and support all aspects of laboratory operations, including but not limited to inventory, equipment, and training of laboratory personnel
  • Govern, shape and drive laboratory safety, safety culture and lab safety committee
  • Administer, organize and maintain documentation for laboratory operations, including documentation of audit trails for Quality and Finance.
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Represent R&D throughout the company, as needed
  • Collaborate and coordinate with R&D General Admin Manager on facilities and equipment related issues
  • Track expenditures against budget with preferred forecast.
  • Support research scientist activities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by manager
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Required Skills/Education

  • BS. degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant lab-related work experience.
  • M.S. with a minimum of 2 years of relevant lab-related work experience.
  • Broad scientific knowledge of basic concepts in physics, chemistry and biology.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and 21 CRF 820.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Robust organizational, detail oriented, and time management skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and productivity software.
  • General knowledge of project management
  • Deep knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and laboratory procedures
  • Understanding of GMP and GLP.
  • Problem solving and analysis.
  • Knowledgeable of basic laboratory equipment, advanced life science equipment a plus
  • Ability to perform a wide range of assigned work
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and good presentation skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $61,594- 79,954 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
