Job Title: Product Manager, Cloud Services 

 

Job purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and highly strategic Cloud Services Product Manager to join our team, driving the evolution of our cloud offerings to meet the demands of the rapidly advancing enterprise medical imaging landscape. 

 

Position Overview: As the Cloud Services Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our cloud services product strategy. Leveraging your expertise in cloud-based Managed Service Provider (MSP), medical imaging, financial operations, and business development, you will lead our overall cloud related go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs. 

 

Duties and responsibilities 

 

  1. Go-to-Market Leadership: 
  • Lead alliances with our key technology partners within the cloud space. 
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cloud services in the medical imaging sector. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service launches and updates. 
  • Develop and support go to market strategies that align with  business revenue and profit growth expectations for cloud services. 
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring our cloud services remain competitive and innovative. 
  1. Pricing and Billing Models: 
  • Continuously develop and improve cloud services pricing and billing models, considering market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer needs. 
  • Monitor and analyze pricing effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for optimization. 
  • Develop and introduce packaging and promotional programs to drive adoption and growth of our cloud services business. 
  1. Technical Expertise: 
  • Possess in-depth technical knowledge of AWS services, with expertise in core IT areas focusing on storage, compute, and networking. 
  • Collaborate with cloud solution architects to design and implement robust and scalable cloud solutions. 
  • Provide guidance to all MI business engineering teams to leverage cloud-native architecture options effectively.

  1. Business Development: 
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand our cloud services footprint within the medical imaging industry. 
  • Foster strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance product offerings and market reach. 
  1. Integration and Maintenance: 
  • Oversee the integration and maintenance of business systems, such as Salesforce and SAP, to ensure seamless operations. 
  • Collaborate with IT and business operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance. 
  1. Cloud Cost Optimization and FinOps: 
  • Implement strategies for cloud cost optimization, balancing performance requirements with cost-effectiveness. 
  • Monitor and analyze cloud usage, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings. 
  • Develop and support procurement methods and strategies such as AWS Marketplace. 
  1. Business Intelligence: 
  • Leverage business intelligence tools to analyze customer and internal cloud cost and usage trends. 
  • Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making and service enhancements. 
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
  • Work closely with cloud Solution Architects, CloudOps, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Business Operations teams to ensure alignment across departments for successful product development, with a focus of launch, and adoption. 
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to drive overall business success. 

 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a focus on cloud services or related technologies. 
  • Proven Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience, particularly in cloud services and medical imaging industries. 
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including storage, computer, and networking. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial operations, business development, and business acumen. 
  • Experience with integrating and maintaining business systems, such as Salesforce and SAP. 
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and business intelligence tools. 
  • Ability to effectively present technical concepts and solutions to executive-level leadership in a clear and concise manner. 
  •  Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful product launches in a matrix organization  
  • You possess an understanding (and interest) in the software development process, emerging technologies and knowledge on cloud program. 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

 

 

Physical requirements 

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities: 

  • The ability to sit up to 75-100% of applicable work time. 
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time. 
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time. 
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time. 
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less. 

 

 

Travel 

 

  • This is a remote based position. 
  • Some travel required, 25-50%. 

 

Salary and Benefits: 

  • The base salary range for this position is $128,000  to $145,000  annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
