Overview

This position is within the Imaging Division (ID) and provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all production equipment safely and timely for the manufacturing of Personalized Photo products. The job title Maintenance Technician Level 1 will report to the Maintenance Supervisor in Greenwood, SC.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessoriesThe Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

 

FNAC-ID Personalized Photo Products Group (PPPG) now makes more than 450 personalized items (such as coffee mugs, posters, framed prints, canvas wall décor and more). PPPG provides a turnkey, back-end service of producing these items for a variety of retail and online customers.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment.
  • Perform Predictive and Preventive Maintenance to increase equipment uptime.
  • Complete work orders and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and practices and complying with legal codes and regulations.
  • Work with the Production Management Team on equipment repair priorities based on overall customer demand and SLA.
  • Participate in projects including new equipment installations and facility layout changes.
  • Communicates effectively, efficiently, and appropriately with all employees.
  • Encourages and champions an atmosphere of Continuous Improvement by fostering an environment with the teams working together to act with intentional inclusion and participation of all team members within Production departments.
  • Follows established Environmental/Health/Safety (EHS) guidelines as pertains to safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Completes all paperwork required according to procedures.
  • Cross training into other areas of production may be needed based on business needs.

Required Skills/Education

  • Technical degree/trade certification or 1-2 years of applicable Industrial Maintenance or comparable experience.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Basic mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend service manuals.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and in a teamwork environment.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including three shifts, holidays, and weekends as dictated by the business needs. 

Desired Skills

 

  • Experience with CMMS.
  • Basic computer and networking troubleshooting.
  • Sound troubleshooting and repair skills when working on industrial equipment.
  • Extremely organized, results-driven, and willing to escalate issues if necessary to achieve goals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and written).
  • Strong ability to adapt to change.
  • Strong ability to build positive working relationships.
