The primary responsibility of the Senior Transformation Project Manager & Lead Facilitator is to manage and/or play a significant role in the delivery of projects which are part of the site’s Transformation Project Portfolio (TPP) as part of the FUJIFILM Diosynth (FDB) Transformation Center of Excellence. This will involve key strategic and large matrix projects which include, to varying degrees: global, multi-site, single-site, and strategic external collaborations. The position holder will manage projects focused on the development of systems, delivery of business change projects (non-customer facing), and business process improvement initiatives.
A secondary responsibility for the Senior Transformation Project Manager & Lead Facilitator will be to coordinate and facilitate complex problem-solving efforts on behalf of other departments around the site. If/when failures occur, it critically important to quickly determine root cause, define countermeasures, and implement solutions to mitigate risk and prevent future occurrences. To be successful in this role, the Lead Facilitator needs to be expert in leading effective and efficient investigations using problem solving tools to discover root cause and associated countermeasures. The Lead Facilitator does not, and should not, be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any technical issues being discussed. Furthermore, the Lead Facilitator will not own or be assigned anything within the site Quality Management Systems (QMS). The Lead Facilitator is purely focused on coordinating and driving the respective team(s) to conduct thorough and complete root cause analysis for the assigned problem or failure.
To be considered for this role, qualified candidates MUST have the requisite years of experience in Project Management or Operational Excellence roles. Candidate must have demonstrated experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile tools and methodologies to deliver a variety of projects or demonstrated experience in managing the successful delivery of a variety of global or cross-functional and high value projects. As well, candidates must have the requisite years of experience facilitating Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) and/or process mapping workshops.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent influencing skills and have demonstrable experience in driving project completion and benefit realization, with the ability to resolve inter-dependencies across the company. Candidate must be skilled in the engagement and management of Sponsors, Stakeholders, and project team to influence and drive behaviors, as appropriate. The successful candidate will be flexible, meticulous, process-driven, have first-class organizational skills. A track record of proven facilitation skills is also a must.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Taking direction from the Head of Transformation, lead or support the delivery of both strategic and operational and business excellence projects commensurate with experience.
• Follow the Transformation Center of Excellence ways of working, applying appropriate methodologies and tools to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to achieve benefit realization.
• Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Contribute to good customer service by ensuring the seamless transition of a project from initiation, through detailed planning and design, to implementation and handover to the sustaining organization, and to project closing and benefit realization.
• Lead cross-functional teams in applying organizational change management methodologies to successfully plan, communicate, and deliver change through to end user adoption of new ways of working.
• Utilize key stakeholders and network of sponsors to resolve project escalations.
• Use of process/systems thinking and skill to develop clear and concise problems statements
• Facilitate complex problem solving efforts to determine root cause, define countermeasures, and implement solutions
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities related to root cause workshops and liaise with the different functions at the site to assign responsibilities for deliverables and track progress against weekly milestones
• Developing a critical path of key activities, providing planning support and identifying and managing dependencies across the plans
• Manage project budgets and perform day-to-day control of a project including preparing and presenting progress and issues to the appropriate steering committees
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. Track and report on project delivery and progress, and identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues
• Provide estimates of workload and costs for activities and tasks within a project or sub-project
• Analyzing dynamic situations and issues and managing stakeholder requirements. Working in a matrix-managed environment with competing change needs and drivers. Influencing a wide range of stakeholders (up to the Executive Leadership Team) to manage conflicting requirements, demands and priorities
• Communicating across a wide span: engaging internal colleagues and business stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity of requirements, the positioning of proposed solutions and securing the buy-in to those proposed solutions at the appropriate level of the organization
