Job Purpose - This position is responsible for keeping an appropriate inventory level, ordering, fulfilling back orders and expediting on-order depending on the business situation.

The position will require a once per month visit on site to the Wayne, NJ location (10 Highpoint Drive).

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels for all ES products to keep an appropriate inventory level.
  • Issue purchase orders to maintain an appropriate inventory level.
  • Review appropriate inventory criterion based on consumption rate.
  • Expedite on-order in case any shortage or back order can be seen.
  • Communicate with all related teams to run ES business.
  • Cooperate with ES Warehouse team to maintain a storage space, confirm receipt of goods in a timely manner, and return any items to vendors.
  • Work with Accounts Payable team after any invoices from vendors are issued.
  • Gather all information from vendors regarding discontinuation or replacement and work with product managers.
  • Visualize all key operations to maintain an appropriate inventory level, order, fulfill back orders and expedite on-order.
  • Maintain slow moving items and make any suggestion to the team in order to minimize the slow-moving inventory amount.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

 

Experience

  • Comprehensive experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.
  • This position will require a high level of interaction and coordination with different leadership teams within the organization and with vendors. This individual must be able to work in a high-paced environment, work well on a team, have strong organization skills, and have exceptional attention to detail.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Special Skills or Other Job Requirements:

  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Self-directed with high energy and motivation. Ability to work independently and/or in a team setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills are a plus.
  • Must be able to lead through influence, enacting change and process improvement without management responsibility.

Physical Requirements:

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.
