Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Responsible for the Fujifilm site electrical systems, to include the building management system and backup power systems (grid power, generator, and battery (specifically Uninterrupted Power Supplies))
- Participate in future site design modifications and upgrades.
- Analyze data from the site’s monitoring systems to support design efforts to expansion capabilities or improve efficiencies.
- Work at site with the Operations and Maintenance team as the lead electrician to oversee any electrical system modifications.
- Lead specific projects within area of capability and perform engineering studies, analysis and investigations, in order to recommend corrective action in problem areas, or to prevent problems.
- Independently collate and analyze data within using pre-determined tools, methods and formats in order to support the Facility Management’s decision-making process.
- Undertake specific tasks of varying complexity to support Fujifilm facilities in the design of technical solutions.
- Work closely with Facilities Management operating personnel to provide operating and maintenance support to avoid technical obsolescence and to assure maximum safety, reliability and cost efficiency for Company facilities, properties, and related systems.
- Evaluate energy consumption and develop cost saving initiatives in support of various company programs.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field with 6 to 8 years of experience required.
- Experience with medium and low voltages including 12.47kV, and 480V and 208V substation distribution systems.
- Experience in providing Arc Flash evaluation, power distribution system protection coordination, short circuit studies and load studies as well as updating panel schedules.
- Relevant working experience in electrical distribution systems, semiconductor industry or cleanroom environment will be advantageous.
- Understand the National Electrical Code (NEC) and familiarity with NFPA requirements.
- Review and validate construction progress.
- Perform critiques and red line evaluation of the drawings of peers for compliance with standard drawing practice and clarity of content of the information within the drawings.
- Prior experience in effectively contributing and working in a project team of professional engineers from project design through preparation of construction documents and construction and supporting the Project Architect or Project Manager
- AutoCAD Knowledge
