    We are hiring for a Junior SAP Business Analyst -MM for our Valhalla, NY location.  The SAP Business Analyst – MM will report to the SAP SD/MM manager and be responsible for design, development and test of the Materials Management Area. It will also include building integration with other systems that are used in Fujifilm.  In this role you will provide expertise and deliver assigned tasks for production support as well as projects.

    Some of the responsibilities are, but not limited to:

     

    • Provide business system analysis and process redesign expertise within Material Master function to translate business requirements into system solutions under strong senior staff supervision .
    • Perform SAP Material Management module configuration as required to support functional requirements based on break fix , enhancement or project requests in the areas of Material Master , Purchasing , Inventory Management , Vendor Master ,Purchasing Info record, Logistical invoice , Inbound delivery , etc.
    • Research, analyze, document, test and implement SAP changes to meet the requirements of the organization.
    • Develop detailed functional specifications and work closely with Application Developers to accomplish common goals.
    • Understand SAP’s master data integrity, information flow processes, and architecture structure.
    • Communicate and record tasks and time usage and status appropriately.
    • Develop documentation that supports change control and enables training and change management activities.
    • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

    Expectations:

     

    Within 6-9 Months:

    • Be able to understand SAP Material Management module functionality implemented in Fujifilm
    • Be able to perform simple unit test to endure quality of the development and configuration
    • Learn naming convention and transport requirements
    • Understand application landscape for the SAP integration
    • Understand specifics of Fujifilm master data in Material Management module

     

    Within 9-18 Months:

    • Be able to design, configure and test independently changes for break fixes and small projects .
    • Be able to handle requirements gathering session.

    Required skills:

     

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering or related field.
    • Additional courses in SAP MM programming from a certified SAP training institute or an online source are desirable but not required
    • 1+ years of related experience.
    • Configuration experience in SAP ECC 6.0 in Material Management (MM). It includes knowledge of Material Master ,Purchasing Inforecord, Vendor Master, Purchase order processing, Inventory management, Goods Receipt, Inbound Delivery processing , etc
    • Analytical ability to work with complex processes, perform root cause analysis to identify, diagnose, find opportunities and solve problems.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Ability to perform analysis to ensure system functionality is performing satisfactorily and business requirements have been met.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

     Desired skills:

    • SAP SD knowledge is a plus.
    • ABAP knowledge is a plus.
    • EDI knowledge is a plus.
