  • Overview

    The Senior Manager, Government Business-Operations manages the Fujifilm product portfolio (Medical Informatics and Modality Solutions) for the development and delivery of products and services for US Government customers which may be deployed worldwide.  The Senior Manager, Government Business-Operations works in concert with local project management teams to insure timely and professional installations; works directly with U.S. Government authorities representing Fujifilm and the National Director of Government Business-Sales as the primary point of contact for matters related to project implementations.  Develops formal market needs analysis for input to our development and business teams.  Stays abreast of current and future policies and procedures associated with Government customers.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Provides pro-active end to end oversight for Government projects and programs
    • Works closely with local project managers, Regional Sales, Service and Business operations to insure proper logistical support is delivered for Government projects; resolves product gaps, scheduling, and outstanding project issues with customer and internal functional groups at Fujifilm
    • Recommends and works collaboratively with other functional groups to assign appropriate resources to insure project schedules are met with excellent outcomes
    • Maintains professional, consistent and pro-active personal contact with U.S. Government authorities responsible for funding and accepting Fujifilm projects
    • Pro-actively identifies areas where they can alleviate issues from Government Business-Sales, in order to enable their strategic and sales efforts
    • Participates as an empowered, contributing extension of the Government Business team insuring unsurpassed level of service to insure customer satisfaction is achieved
    • Provides steady communication to Government Business team on activities associated with Government accounts and escalates issues as needed
    • Maintains current with professional Project Management best practice specializing in Government projects
    • Works collaboratively, cross-functionally, with all members of the Sales Teams, Solutions Delivery and Support Department, and Service Management to enhance abilities to drive results and overall objectives of Fujifilm
    • Actively seeks out Government markets and supports the promotion of Fujifilm products in those markets

     

     

    Cross Functional Team Collaboration

    • Communicates government market intelligence and makes recommendations to Management aimed at optimizing Fujifilm’s ability to meet the needs of government customers and enhance the Fujifilm’s portfolio offering
    • Demonstrates proficient and effective use of the Company’s CRM tool, as directed by management, to ensure that account activity and information are accurately populated in system
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records and work strategically to collaborate with all members of the selling team based on data collected

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS/MA, with 5+ years of progressive experience in Government Sales within a Healthcare / Medical Imaging / IT organization
    • Broad functional expertise and experience in the areas of establishing customer relationships
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and create business impact
    • Ability to problem solve, analyze and resolve at both a strategic and tactical level
    • Strong customer orientation
    • Strong communication skills- presentation, written, and oral
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
    • Exercises good judgment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
    • Proficient in the use of SalesForce.com
    • Effective time management skills
    • Ability to anticipate the need for proactive communication and planning at all levels
    • Ability to travel 50% of time- includes time spent in the field and at Corporate offices
